Position Description :
CGI is seeking a highly capable SAP EWM Senior Consultant with extensive experience in the Extended Warehouse Management module. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading workshops, gathering and analyzing client requirements, designing and presenting solutions, configuring SAP, and managing the complete software development lifecycle. While the primary focus is on design, configuration, and testing, experience—or a desire to mentor and grow a team—is also highly valued.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
- . Lead and facilitate workshops to gather business requirements, translate them into system requirements, identify gaps, and define workable solutions.
- . Design, configure, test, and implement SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions.
- . Provide functional expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management, with a strong understanding of related modules such as Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD).
- . Understand integration points with FI / CO / PS / PM modules; experience with these is a plus.
- . Serve as the primary functional lead on SAP EWM implementation, guiding clients through best practices, presenting solutions, and delivering formal instruction and documentation.
- . Configure SAP systems (primarily EWM and MM) based on requirements collected during blueprinting sessions.
- . Expert knowledge of understanding and support core warehouse processes : inbound, outbound, internal movements, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping
- . Manage hardware integrations including warehouse RF devices and printer setups, including formatting for various printer types.
- . Lead or support integration with both SAP and non-SAP systems, particularly in decentralized EWM environments.
- . Act as a liaison with clients to troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and provide effective solutions aligned with business needs.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
. Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.. Strong configuration skills with in-depth knowledge of : EWM organizational structure Integration of storage locations, plants, business partners, and supply chain units Proven ability to deliver across all phases of EWM projects : preparation, analysis, design, implementation, testing, post-go-live support, and training. Experience identifying and resolving integration issues between Decentralized SAP EWM and SAP S / 4. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with Warehouse, Distribution Center and Store Operations teams.. Background in production support using multiple tools and platforms.. Experience managing SLAs, support metrics in AMS (Application Maintenance Services)..
