Summary
ATS Healthcare is currently looking for a Business Development Manager working out of our branch in Toronto. We are looking for a strong “hunter” who has experience in the healthcare and / or logistics industry and who has the skills and desire to succeed by developing new business for ATS Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to contribute to continuous quality improvement in order to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Prepare sales contracts and proposals as per set guidelines
- Monitor sales activities, maintain records and compile reports
- Continuously work with new customers to gain a thorough understanding of their business needs and requirements while offering solutions
- Conduct sales calls with potential customers and deliver sales presentations that follow the company’s sales plan.
- Establish strong sales relationships with pharmaceutical and healthcare companies by understanding their business needs and by continuing to offer value‑added solutions
- Maintain current and detailed account profiles on all targets
- Independently manage, monitor and report on your assigned territory to ensure reach and frequency of targets are being met on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
- Prepare sales contracts and proposals as per set guidelines
- Attend internal and external sales meetings
- Follow up on accounts receivables
- Any additional duties as required
Qualifications
Post‑secondary education or equivalent work experienceSuccessful track record in developing business in the transportation industryExperience in new account acquisition, cold calling and project management.Excellent prospecting and cold calling techniquesExcellent time management and organizational skillsExcellent presentation skills and proven sales abilityExperience in the transportation, logistics and / or pharmaceutical / healthcare industry would be considered an assetGood computer skills, particularly with Salesforce and in MS Office : Word, Excel and OutlookBenefits of Working for ATS
