Responsibilities· Troubleshoot, inspect, and diagnose machinery and components including electrical 12 & 24 Volt, hydraulic, pneumatic, engines, gearbox / drive train, etc.

to resolve moderate problems.· Perform scheduled maintenance, repair usually requiring component replacement, and adjustment of mechanical / hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.

  • Occasionally perform servicing as directed, including fluid checks, and sample pulling, oil and filter checks, changing lubricants, replacing filters, greasing machine lube points etc.
  • Ensure all final verifications specified in work instructions are carried out and complete.· Accurate and timely submission of reports and technical documenting including service reports.
  • Ability to work outdoors in difficult conditions caused by snow, dust, temperature changes, and weather.· Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with company policy.

Competencies· You possess 3-5 years experience as a mechanic· Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components· Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, component exchange and repair.

  • Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.· You can effectively communicate detailed information in a clear and concise manner.
  • You are self-motivated with the ability to work alone and as part of a team.· You must have your own set of necessary tools.
  • Transportation required*. Please note that our shop is not located on a public transit route and you will be required to provide your own transportation to and from work.
