Job Description :
Thompson Infinity is hiring a Processor Operator to operate machinery that processes logs. The ideal candidate will have experience with forestry equipment and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Operate log processing machinery to cut and size logs.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
- Work closely with other crew members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications :
- Experience operating forestry processing equipment.
- Strong understanding of forestry operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certification.
- Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) Certification, BSO or CSO equivalent.
- Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
