The Leukemia / Bone Marrow Transplant Program of British Columbia is seeking General Internal Medicine physicians to work in the Leukemia / BMT Program at Vancouver General Hospital.

The Leukemia / BMT Program provides specialized care to patients with aggressive hematologic malignancies and those undergoing stem cell transplant.

The GIM physician will support the program by being part of the team providing care to patients admitted / presenting to VGH ER under the program.

He / She will collaborate in the care of these patients with the leukemia / bone marrow transplant attending physicians, fellows-in-training and clinical associates working with the programme.

The GIM physicians will take part in the call and weekend schedule.

Successful candidates will be Licentiates of the Medical Council of Canada, and hold a BC Medical License and current certificate with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC and meet credentialing requirements at BC cancer and VGH.

Successful candidates will have :
