Job Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owner, business units and internal stakeholder groups by continually demonstrating value and breaking down barriers to effective sourcing through polished executive influencing and relationship-building skills
- Execute sourcing projects as defined within the portfolio strategy : Define project goals, timelines, roles and responsibilities, and an overall project management cadenceApply contemporary methods and innovative approaches, such as total cost of ownership, e-Auctions, should-cost models, and raw material index agreementsDevelop comprehensive implementation and communication plans with stakeholders and end usersEnsure involvement of all organizations and individuals impactedQuantify and document results
- Develop and skillfully execute negotiation strategies to achieve desired, pre-agreed outcomes
- Develop and deploy standard reporting for key stakeholders that gages satisfaction, engagement and performance against sourcing activities, upcoming contract expirations, supplier performance issues, and other key information
- Develop and maintain deep category expertise across indirect spend categories and maintain market knowledge on changing innovations in indirect categories (Financial Services & Payments, Technology & Software, Human Resources, Telecommunications, Marketing, Loyalty, Operations, Travel, Consulting and others)
- Provide stewardship of strategic sourcing policy as well as solution compliance and adoption throughout the organization
- Produce and analyze regional performance reports and dashboards as well as function financial tracking
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Process Management, Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, management consulting, advisory or professional services role with a demonstrated track record of results and increasing level of responsibilityA strong drive for people management and change management with high degree of resilience and self-motivationAdaptive to fast paced, constantly changing environments and ability to work as part of a global team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practicesExpertise in strategic sourcing and leading multi-category sourcing teams with broad hands on experience across food and beverage categories and decentralized environmentExpertise in negotiations and contracting : including e-sourcing, should-cost models, leveraged agreements, multi-year contracts, complex terms and conditions, performance incentives, and management of corporate riskExcellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiencesStrong orientation to team leadership, coaching, collaboration, and positive communicationExceptional data analysis and financial acumen skillsDemonstrating strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) softwareADDITIONAL PREFERENCES :

Work Location :
This position will be based either in our New York City or Toronto Office.
The salary range for this role in New York is $275-325k USD.
This position will also come with a competitive long term and short term inceitve plan.
