Reporting to the Development Director, the Hybrid Mobile Application Engineer will be part of the development process of a hybrid web / mobile companion application for our newest addition EA SPORTS FC. You will be involved in helping to deliver new features from conception to deployment, as well as maintaining existing features that are enjoyed by people around the world.

This is a temporary Full‑time (12 months) opportunity.

Responsibilities

• You will assist with new feature ideation and assessing technical feasibility
• Design and develop data / logic systems to support and run new features
• Work across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, modern web browsers)
• Work with people on a large team, both locally and remotely
• Stay up to date with the latest technical recommendations and app store requirements

Your Qualifications

3+ years of experience implementing hybrid / web application development frameworks (e.g. Cordova / Ionic / PhoneGap, React Native, Xamarin, Electron)

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health / dental / vision coverage and basic life insurance.
