Teck’s Trail Operations, located in the community of Trail in British Columbia is one of the world’s largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Located in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia, Trail offers outdoor adventure at your fingertips. Teck is looking for an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team at Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Reporting to the Group Leader, Mobile and Lift. Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100 km of Trail. Relocation assistance will be offered, however there is no camp or company housing.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Operate mobile cranes (up to 80 tonnes) to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials
• Perform minor to complex lifting of equipment with various types of rigging
• Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes
• Work within a flexible work environment with many trade disciplines

Qualifications

Pay Range : 50.78 / hr
