Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Organizational Resilience to join our Inside Claims Commercial Lines team to work remotely in Ontario, Canada .

The successful candidate will be working with internal parties and vendors this position will assist in developing and upkeep the business continuity, disaster recovery & cyber resiliency program globally for Crawford & Company.

Areas of focus include creating and maintaining plans, reviewing risks, assisting in upkeep of IT runbooks, conducting Impact Analysis and facilitating testing.

Areas of focus include. Working directly with our Infrastructure engineering staff and leadership teams to help develop standardized processes for operational optimization and efficiencies.

Primary responsibilities also include ensuring the offshore support teams are meeting the established SLA’s, are following documented runbook procedures and adhering to best practices around ITIL and critical incident

Responsibilities

  • Analyze critical business functions and define the scope, scoring and impact of disaster scenarios.
  • Design, plan and implement disaster recovery plans through analysis of current system and technology designs for US and global regions with standardized approach
  • Managing and performing in business continuity exercises including, but not limited to, call tree exercises, testing policies / procedures, tabletop walkthrough
  • Owning business continuity and disaster recovery planning tools including, but not limited to, automated notification systems, business continuity management planning software and other business continuity / disaster recovery services
  • Devise, schedule and implement disaster recovery tests and analyze results
  • Developing appropriate program reports and records for both internal and external consumption; make internal presentations or be part of client meetings
  • Assist in responses to client questionnaires and audits around BCP / DRP and Infrastructure operations related items
  • Assists in the critical incident management process including keeping stakeholders updated, ensuring proper resources are auctioning the issue and documented closure with RCA.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of technical background with hands-on and / or theoretical operational best practices in a medium to large corporation.

A minimum of 5 years of experience developing, implementing and testing disaster recovery plans within a medium to large corporation.

A minimum of 2 years of experience working with an ITSM solution in super-user role.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems / technology or related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management

Strong understanding of best practices on building out disaster recovery and business continuity plans for a large global enterprise.

Identify issues and opportunities, coordinate problems when they arise and lead team through process of creating root cause analysis and recommendations.

Principles, practices and techniques of information systems management, including applications design, hardware and software options for business, engineering and operations applications and the cost-benefit of systems alternatives.

Superior written and verbal communication with a strong focus on client service

Must be willing complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services
