Our national retail client is looking for a Junior GIS analyst with exp with ESRI GIS software (ArcGIS, ArcMap), SQL and Python to provide GIS support in mapping and spatial analysis -
Location : Mississauga (on site Tues + Thurs + 1 other day)
Duration : 7 months to start

Responsibilities :
- Provide GIS support to the enterprise including mapping, spatial analysis, data management, visualizations and technical support.
- Work with a team to build and maintain a functional enterprise GIS System.
- Contribute to business development activities including proposals, client meetings and presentations.
- Build and maintain map templates, layers, and symbol sets for GIS users.
- Use ETL / Integration technology to convert between common spatial data formats and integrate existing data structures and software.
- Generate and maintain GIS workflow and process documentation.
- Gather, compile, migrate and convert data sets for project needs from a variety of internal and external sources
- Test new GIS software for its ability to fit documented workflows and user needs.
Must Haves :
- Exp with ESRI GIS software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online , ArcGIS Enterprise, and supporting applications)
- Python
- Experience creating user-friendly interactive Maps / Dashboards
