You'll play a key role in critical project phases, from Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering to Construction, gaining hands‑on experience across a variety of commodities. We are currentlyseeking an energetic and enthusiastic Procurement Specialist (Buyer) to join our Team in Calgary.

About the role

• Develop purchasing strategies and plans to achieve overall best value supply of materials, equipment and services in co-ordination with the Engineering team.
• Management of the formation process for procurement packages assigned to you, including pre-qualification, tendering, clarification, evaluation, negotiations, and developing recommendations for award.
• Support progress updates in the procurement cycle for your assigned packages to drive delivery in support of the project schedule.
• Administration of awarded purchase contracts, including management of changes, invoicing, and closeout.
• Chair package meetings with suppliers, functional team members, and clients to support project delivery.
• Use and maintain project systems for all purchasing activities.
• Work closely with project functional team members, including Engineering, Project Controls, Construction, Contracts, Expediting, and Project Management.
