SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Developing your skills as an apprentice by troubleshooting electrical systems / components, installing, modifying and repairing aircraft avionics, as contracted by the customer, with the support of experienced Avionics Technicians;
- Supporting license technicians during various maintenance activity on aircrafts;
- Accomplish maintenance under technicians supervision;
- Interact and work cooperatively with other trade personnel;
- Management and Customer Representatives while performing work in order to meet project directives;
- Attend training courses as directed;
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
Working towards becoming a “E” licensed Avionics Technician;Previous apprentice related experience is an asset;Background in working on Business Aircraft types, an asset;Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills;Must be attentive to detail;Positive attitude;Team oriented;Good communication skills.EDUCATION :
