Mining and processing employment opportunities
The Basin Mine is a small open pit, industrial minerals mine located near Princeton BC.
We are currently hiring heavy duty equipment operators, wash plant operators and
general laborers to begin work between May 15 and June 30th. If you have experience
in any of these areas and are interested in joining our team of motivated, positive-
minded individuals, please contact us.
Responsibilities :
Safely and efficiently operate various pieces of heavy-duty equipment such as
haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators.
Position Requirements :
Previous experience operating heavy duty equipment in a mining or construction
environment.
Previous experience operating a wash plant or mining related processing
equipment.
Valid driver's license
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and rotating shift
work if required. Having said that, we are open to collaborating with our
employees to provide an environment of life balance.
Additional Value / Certificates
Occupational First Aid Level 3
Any additional courses or related skills to mining and processing minerals.
Hours and Payment
Starting wage is based on the position sought and the individual’s relevant
experience on a case-by-case basis. In general, the range would be from $39.00
per hour for general labor, to around $50.00 an hour for operators. We will be
doing 10-hour shift work at times so overtime will also be available.
