Location : 098-Broadway Physiotherapy
Start date : Immediately
Schedule : Flexible hours on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
Status : Permanent Part Time (20 hours per week)
Mandatory requirements : Certified Hand Therapist
We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more.
Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory.
Your Day-to-Day :
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of client's hand and upper extremity function.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
- Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, recovery, and management strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in hand therapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.
What You Bring to the Team :
- Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) required.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia or Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
