About the Opportunity
We have the good fortune of working with a small but mighty not-for-profit member organization to help them source a part time Office Administrator.
This role would offer the successful candidate thirty (15) hours per week; with flexibility on how this time is configured.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Provide superior customer service to members; responding to inquiries; request for information and guidance
- Organize meetings with members and external stakeholders
- Provide administrative support for the Board and Committee meetings
- Assist with projects and event coordination, including acting as primary point-of-contact for volunteers
- Office management, including some requirement to be off-site and mobile
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Post secondary education in business administration or equivalent experience
- Three years of relevant administrative or office management experience
- Superior interpersonal skills allowing you to provide customer service and problem solving to member issues
- Experience working independently; with the ability to be resourceful
- Strong technical skills
- Bilingual (English / French) essential
- Access to a vehicle to allow for participation and member events
About the Job
This position offers 15 hours per week and would start as a contract, but evolve into a permanent position. During the contract period, we are offering $25.
00-$27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Our client is conveniently located in Ottawa’s east end with free parking available on site.
