Position Overview :

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving cost efficiencies. Key Responsibilities :

• Full Cycle Accounting : Oversee the entire accounting operations ensuring accuracy and finding efficiencies.
• Inventory Management : Tighten inventory processes and improve cost accounting to ensure accurate tracking and control.
• Financial Leadership : Manage bank and credit card reconciliations, audit responsibilities, manual checks, and year-end financial processes.
• Expense Management : Identify and implement cost-saving measures across areas such as phones, alarms, and IT systems.
• Cash Conversion Cycle : Optimize the cash conversion cycle to improve financial efficiency.
• Project Accounting : Apply costing and project accounting expertise to support building and construction operations.
• Business Transformation : Evaluate current systems and processes, recommending and implementing IT upgrades to enhance efficiency.
• Trust & Relationships : Build strong relationships with ownership and team members, ensuring alignment with the company's culture and goals.
• Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor a team of four direct reports and other indirect reports, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations.
• Advisory Role : Interpret financial data to guide decision-making and advise on accounting matters, ensuring compliance with industry standards and family business dynamics.
