POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a full-time Print Operator to join our team! As a vital member of the production team, the Print Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of printers, laminators, and plotters. This role is focused on utilizing our Renegade Flatbed Screen Printing Press / UV Dryer, other presses and applications as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot wide format printers, laminators, and plottersLoad and unload paper, ink, and other printing materials as required ensuring the correct type and quantity is used for appropriate jobsMonitor Print jobs for quality, colour accuracy, and consistencyPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs on printing equipment and escalate more technical issues to print leadPrepare and set up printing files received from the design teamComplete file element conversions specific to printer operationsCommunicate with print lead any problems or potential delaysKeep working area clean and tidyOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
Dependability and reliabilityPrevious experience as a Print Technician or in a similar role is preferredExperience Operating a semi-automatic flatbed graphics screen printing pressesProficiency with printing equipment and softwareGeneral working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, google docsStrong attention to detailKnowledge of printing techniques, materials, and industry best practicesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsHOURS OF WORK :
The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8 : 00am – 4 : 30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Evenings may be considered.
