Millwright Technician

Job Description

/Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the role include:

• Complete planned maintenance tasks
• Breakdown analysis (Root Cause Analysis)
• Repairs
• Support autonomous maintenance by resolving tags, participating in teams, operator training.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Skilled in either Arc, Mig or Tig welding
• Skilled in repairs to and rebuilding of many different types of pumps
• Must have valid Industrial Millwright Certification (443A)
• Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required.
• High School diploma or GED/CAEC equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in industrial manufacturing environment

Physical Qualifications

• Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required.
• Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work overtime if necessary
• Ability to work 8 hour shift
• In-person job attendance
• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
• Ability to analyze
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
• Noise level at work station is loud (metal can manufacturing, large earth moving equipment)
• Ability to work in high, precarious places
• Three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances
• Ability to work with vibration from a specific tool
