Availability for the listed shifts :
- Monday 7 : 45am - 3 : 45pm
- Wednesday 11 : 15am - 3 : 15pm
- Thursday 11am - 7 : 00pm
- Friday 7 : 45am - 3 : 45pm
May include evenings, weekends, and / or holidays based on operational needs.

Work with the Children’s Center Manager to provide high quality care for children ages 0-5 yearsEnsuring the programs led are of high standards and excellenceEnsure your students are learning and engagedEnsuring classroom is set up in a timely manner, is well organized and maintainedMaintain a welcome and communicative relationship with children, families, and membersDemonstrate appropriate child guidance techniques that are respectful to the child and help develop self-esteem, independence, good decision making, and trustDesign and create a curriculum for specific subjectsUtilizing prepared materials and resources to develop high quality programs and curriculumsSubbing in other Children’s Programs when neededParticipating in school activities, trips, and eventsRequirements & Qualifications
BC Early Child Educator CertificateChild First Aid and CPR CertificateCriminal Record Review by Ministry of Education
3 reference contacts or letters related to the field3 years experience working with children ages 0-5 yearsExperience in a Montessori environment an assetKnowledge using Montessori equipment an assetExperience in a Play-based, Reggio Emilia, or Waldorf environment an assetExcellent planning, organization, and communication skillsAbility to lead programs solo or with groups of children of varying ages, needs, and abilitiesAbility to lead programs that are both academic and play-basedComfortable feeding, changing and handling infants and toddlers aged 0-3We are committed to ensuring that the application and interview processes are accessible to all applicants.
