- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience running complex data queries and working with large, structured datasets.
- Strong proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Power Query.
- Experience extracting data from SQL databases and understanding database structures, relationships, and basic data management concepts.
- Experience working with healthcare, financial, clinical, and / or research data is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter, managing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and structured analytical processes.

- Independently write, test, and optimize data queries to extract information from structured data sources, including SQL-based databases and electronic medical record systems.
- Extract, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including electronic medical records and operational systems
- Clean, transform, and model data from multiple sources using tools such as Power Query and Microsoft Excel.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Analyze trends, patterns, and variances to generate clear insights and recommendations for leadership and operational teams.
- Collaborate with IT and system owners to understand data sources, structures, and data quality issues.
- Apply strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with defined metrics and definitions.
- Translate complex data into clear insights, visualizations, and summaries tailored to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Present findings clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage multiple requests and priorities effectively while adhering to structured processes and timelines.
- Share knowledge and analytical best practices, supporting organizational data literacy and continuous improvement.
