Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Safety & Security Administrator Summer Student , based out of our Calgary Solutions Centre (60 - 11550 Barlow Trail NE). This position will be a temporary full-time work term from May to August 2026 . Reporting to the Manager, Safety & Security, the successful candidate will provide administrative support of our safety and security management system.
Role and Responsibilities
- Administration of Spartan safety data including incidents, hazards, inspection reports, and trend analysis
- Provide safety supplies and protective equipment to Spartans and Spartan locations, as well as issue vouchers and PO’s for necessary safety items
- Book safety training for employees and conduct new-employee orientations
- Participation and scribe safety committee meetings, fire warden, and first responder meetings
- Maintenance and record keeping of equipment and facility inspections
- Inspections of first aid kits and AEDS on a scheduled basis
- Supporting the development of training aids, like safety moments and topics
- Other various administrative tasks, as required
Qualifications and Skills
