Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our corporate team!

This position is remote for candidates that reside within Canada.
Position Summary
The Payroll Administrator - will be responsible for processing timely and accurate payrolls for multiple provinces, while meeting all governmental regulations and guidelines.
The individual will collaborate with business partners, key vendors (Ceridian, Canada Life, Sunlife, CRA, WCB, Health Levies), tax authorities, and unions to ensure payroll execution and reporting is timely and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll processing, including new hires, terminations, salary / rate adjustments, transfers etc. using Dayforce HCM, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Provide exemplary customer service and respond to inquiries from teammates, internal / external stakeholders and government agencies.
- Create employee files and confidential payroll filing.
- Other payroll projects as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2-3 years’ experience in a complex, high volume, multi provincial environment.
- Dayforce HCM experience is a must.
- Knowledge of WCB and health tax related administration
- Knowledge of payroll year end and new year administration.
- National Payroll Institute PCP designation (or working towards).
- Full cycle payroll processing experiences a must.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong time management, organization skills with the ability to adapt to change.
- Able to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Able to take direction and respond to changing priorities.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
