Job descriptionRural area Staff accommodation available Machine set‑up Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas Handle animals Monitor the calving process Monitor animal health Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops Treat livestock health issues Wean Fertilize and spray crops Feed and tend animals Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting Carry out a pasture or pen breeding program Co‑ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Ensure farm safety and bio‑security procedures are followed Maintain livestock performance records Maintain work records and logs Seed drill Sprayer or duster Farm truck Haying equipment Loader Planting equipment Swather Hand tools Own transportation Ability to work independently Physically demanding Organized Team player Reliability Quick learner As per collective agreement Pension plan On‑site housing options Parking available Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada Other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit
