Responsibilities:

• Design integrated municipal roadway, provincial highway, transit facilities and active transportation facilities projects for clients in the province and for other major municipalities in the province

• Assist in the preparation of designs, design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications and cost estimates for municipal road and highway engineering work

• Prepare correspondence, engineering reports, proposals, expressions of interest, specifications and meeting minutes

• Ability to liaise with clients and sub-consultants

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring for junior staff

• Provide Quality Management reviews by ensuring corporate policies are followed and documented

Qualifications:​

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the transportation design engineering field preferably with local experience in the consulting industry

• Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering

• P.Eng. designation or ability to register

• Knowledge of applicable design standards

• Outstanding communication, documentation and proposal writing skills

• Past experience in contract administration is an asset
