Responsibilities :

Design integrated municipal roadway, provincial highway, transit facilities and active transportation facilities projects for clients in the province and for other major municipalities in the province

Assist in the preparation of designs, design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications and cost estimates for municipal road and highway engineering work

Prepare correspondence, engineering reports, proposals, expressions of interest, specifications and meeting minutes

Ability to liaise with clients and sub-consultants

Provide technical guidance and mentoring for junior staff

Provide Quality Management reviews by ensuring corporate policies are followed and documented

Qualifications : ​

Minimum 4 years of experience in the transportation design engineering field preferably with local experience in the consulting industry

Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering

P.Eng. designation or ability to register

Knowledge of applicable design standards

Outstanding communication, documentation and proposal writing skills

Past experience in contract administration is an asset
