Industrial Electrician
Requirements
- Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A)
- 5+ years’ experience in industrial electrical equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Corrugated packaging equipment experience an asset.
- Project managements skills : desire to take responsibility for a project and see it through to completion.
- The ability to respond quickly to process upsets.
- Must have strong PLC background.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, schematics, and manuals.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to communicate comfortably in both verbal and written correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
- Must provide tools for individual use, including skilled in the use of hand and power tools and to use the measurement devices required to support role.
Work Environment :
- Full time steady days for an independent, non-integrated corrugated sheets plant focused on providing quality corrugated products.
- Work is in an industrial environment; depending on the area conditions may be hot, cold, dirty, dusty, damp, or noisy at times.
- Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to success of the operations in general, as well as contributing to the overall positive team environment.
- Overtime may be required to meet customer demand.
