Element5 is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee and manage our project contracts from initiation to completion.

This role involves negotiating the terms and conditions in contracts, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions, as well as documenting and agreeing on any changes or amendments that may arise during its implementation or execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts covering a wide range of transactions.
  • Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients to ensure smooth contract management and execution.
  • Ensure all contracts are in compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.
  • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension, or renewal, as appropriate.
  • Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all contract-related queries.
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.
  • Mitigate risks associated with contract management and execution.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in contract development and management processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Proficient in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on MS Excel and contract management software.
  • Thorough understanding of contract terminology, negotiations, and legal implications.
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management or a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing complex contracts successfully.
