Job description

Our client a quintessential manufacturing company is looking for a financial Controller for his accounting department. Overseeing a small team of 4 clerks you will ensure the full cycle of AP and AR is done on a timely basis. must have experience in managing a team .Not afraid to get involved at all levels in order to ensure the timely delivery of financial statements. Not looking for a ''bull in a china shop''' here but rather someone able to build bridges and work with many departments. If you feel you are up to the challenge then contact me at [email protected]. Responsibilities

Oversee the daily accounting activities

Ensure timely closure of the month-end procedures

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, tracking performance against

established financial goals

Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.

Manage all audits, both internal and external as well as the preparation of the corporate

income tax return

Ensure GST / TVQ, State Sales taxes, and income tax installments are reported and paid

within prescribed deadlines.

Strengthen internal control processes

Participate in special financial projects as needed, providing financial expertise and insights

Qualifications

CPA or graduate-level education in accounting

with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Bilingual ( fr-Eng)

having worked with an ERP ( Oracle, SAP, dynamics, etc.. )

Strong Excel skills are a must and Power BI ( is an asset )
