Program Management Senior Director, Water

We are currently looking for an experienced Program Management Director to join our team, leading on some of the most complex water programs globally. Initial role will involve leading on a key strategic water / wastewater program based in Vancouver.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manages large to very large size water programs with high execution complexity and significant strategic value.
- Provide the organization with technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery globally.
- Champion ethical and safe working practices.
- Drive innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation.
- Collaborate with Global Business Lines, Regional leadership and Market Sector Leaders to identify new business opportunities and develop solutions.
- Identify areas of high risk and proactively take actions to positively impact program outcomes.
- Contribute to the global learning and people development strategy for program management, including talent gap identification and resourcing plans.
- Assess long-term and disruptive trends and propose skill development and workforce planning for the future.
- Support attraction and retention of talent across area of expertise.
- Accountable for overall financial success and delivery of the AECOM Program Management agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
BA / BS in a relevant discipline such as architecture, engineering or project management + extensive experience in Water / Wastewater programs, including 6 years in a senior leadership role within program managementTypically, a minimum of 15 years professional experience with 10 years in a program management leadership roleRecognized for water / wastewater Program Management expertise within national / regional marketExpanding professional network within the industry and a track record of leading multiple medium to large programsStrong understanding of program management competencies and ability to apply them successfullyProven ability to mentor others in developing program competenciesAbility to build strong client relationships (internal and external)Demonstrated leadership attributes and ability to influence program strategy in challenging situationsAbility to set long-term goals and manage interfaces across the programExperience building diverse and inclusive teams that foster trust, psychological safety, autonomy, accountability and alignmentPreferred Qualifications
PMI-PgMP, APM-RPP or CMAA-CCM Certification (or equivalent) preferred but not essentialProfessional Engineering License preferredAdditional Information
Relocation is available for this position.Sponsorship is available for this position.Travel is required for this position.Offered compensation range : CAD 375,000 - CAD 480,000 per year, based on education, qualifications, experience and work location.
