AEM Product Specialist
Job Summary
Equinix is seeking a motivated individual to join our Digital Marketing Department in the role of AEM Product Specialist. This position will collaborate closely with the AEM Product Owner to shape and execute the AEM Product roadmap. The ideal candidate will work alongside Marketing and other internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features, utilizing epics and user stories. Additionally, this role will liaise with technical Scrum teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, resolve any queries, and facilitate the successful delivery of product features.
Responsibilities
In-depth Knowledge of AEM
Demonstrate a strong understanding and proficiency in CMS, with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred
Possess a high-level understanding of web technologies and their integration with CMS
Knowledge of authoring and translation workflows within CMS
Hands-on experience authoring pages, templates, and content / Experience Fragments
Familiarity with Digital Asset Manager (AEM DAM preferred)
Communication and Collaboration
Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Product Owners, Program Managers, AEM developers, Scrum teams, and cross-functional teams
Partner closely with lines of business to understand capability requirements and translate them into product features
Project Management and Scrum
Collaborate with the Product Owner to create and maintain a product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, refined, and prioritized
Write user stories, articulate current / expected functionality, and define acceptance criteria
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups to ensure alignment and efficient execution of product plans
Support the implementation of Agile methodologies and contribute to the efficient delivery of product increments
Create UAT plans and conduct testing to ensure product features meet acceptance criteria
Experience with Jira (preferred) or any other ticketing system
Documentation
Generate thorough documentation of work and develop meaningful training materials required by producers for new AEM features
Continuous Learning
Demonstrate a natural curiosity for learning and stay up-to-date on the latest AEM features and capabilities
Identify opportunities to leverage new features for product enhancements
Qualifications
Solid understanding and experience with AEM or similar CMS platforms
Relevant certifications such as CSM, AEM Business Owner are a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
