Diesel Service Technician

The Bayview Group is a full-service, parts and sales dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment, currently hiring a Diesel Service Technician for its Bathurst, New Brunswick location.

We offer a flexible schedule with options for 5 days × 8 hours, 4 days × 10 hours, or 3 days × 13.5 hours, along with a signing bonus for Red Seal Certified technicians and Block 4 completion recognition.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in repairing and diagnosing medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering, electronics, brake and suspension systems.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair resolution.
• Complete technical reports from different manufacturers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Available to work covering after-hours service calls for emergencies.
• Work in a team environment and present themselves professionally with a positive, cooperative attitude.
• Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
