Whether it's engaging in heartfelt conversations, assisting with daily routines, or helping them stay connected with the world, you'll be a beacon of positivity in their lives.

Your Role :

As a caregiver, you'll create meaningful moments by :

  • Spreading Warmth and Companionship : Spend quality time with seniors, fostering friendships and engaging them in conversations and activities that keep their spirits high.
  • Promoting Independence : Assist with personal care tasks like grooming, showering, and dressing, ensuring seniors feel confident and cared for.
  • Keeping Things Sparkling : Help with light housekeeping, including dishes, laundry, and tidying, to maintain a cozy and welcoming home.
  • Whipping Up Happiness : Prepare meals with love, catering to dietary needs, and assisting with feeding (if needed).
  • Ensuring Safety and Mobility : Support seniors with walking, including the use of walkers or wheelchairs, and ensure safe travels to appointments or outings.
  • Running Errands and Staying Connected : Shop for groceries, handle bills, or provide transportation to appointments, family visits, or outings.
  • Documenting Your Impact : Record details of your visits and services delivered to ensure the best care for our seniors.

Qualifications :

  • Empathy, patience, and kindness.
  • Communication skills that could light up a room.
  • Ability to juggle tasks confidently.
  • Flexibility to changing schedules.
  • First aid and CPR skills are a bonus too.
  • A driver's license and reliable transportation to be their hero on wheels.
  • A heart full of compassion and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Required :

  • Driver's license and registered vehicle
  • At least one year experience as a caregiver
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service abilities
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Currently located in Calgary, AB (no international applicants)
  • Willing to travel up to 30 minutes from home to work location
