Job descriptionFlexibility to drive various Class 1 vehicles and equipment, must be able to drive manual transmission Ensure secure loads, pick-up and deliver freight locally Have a natural customer service focus Maintain routine communication with dispatch / yard control Perform daily inspections and safety checks Work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment Other duties as assigned 10 Speed Manual transmission experience required Class 1 license with MELT endorsement Minimum 2 years trucking experience Pre-employment health, drug and criminal background checks required Ability to pass all Transport Canada driver qualification standards Clean Driver’s abstract is an asset Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Team-oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good English communication skills - written and verbal Basic math skills
Founded in 1928, TST-CF Express provides LTL service within Canada from 22 locations and between Canada and the U.S. through its strategic partnership with Saia LTL Freight.
We are Hiring Class 1 driver in Edmonton for City position.
Shift Hours : Requires 24 hours availability (Mornings, Afternoon, Evenings and Graveyard)
