Founded in 1928, TST-CF Express provides LTL service within Canada from 22 locations and between Canada and the U.S. through its strategic partnership with Saia LTL Freight.

We are Hiring Class 1 driver in Edmonton for City position.

Shift Hours : Requires 24 hours availability (Mornings, Afternoon, Evenings and Graveyard)

  • Shift premiums of $1.50 for shifts starting between 2PM and 6AM.
  • $2.80 of employer pension contribution for every hour worked

What you will be doing :

  • Flexibility to drive various Class 1 vehicles and equipment, must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Ensure secure loads, pick-up and deliver freight locally
  • Have a natural customer service focus
  • Maintain routine communication with dispatch / yard control
  • Perform daily inspections and safety checks
  • Work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment
  • Other duties as assigned

    • What are we looking for?

  • 10 Speed Manual transmission experience required
  • Class 1 license with MELT endorsement
  • Minimum 2 years trucking experience
  • Pre-employment health, drug and criminal background checks required
  • Ability to pass all Transport Canada driver qualification standards
  • Clean Driver’s abstract is an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Team-oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good English communication skills - written and verbal
  • Basic math skills
