Glass Production - Forklift / Front End Loader Operator

UPCOMING ROLES! *Candidates must be available to work full time until at least Dec 2025* MUST DRIVE TO LOCATION Our client in Waterdown is hiring for Counterbalance Forklift operators with front end loader/heavy equipment experience! This company is a historical site, being in business for over 100 years in beautiful Waterdown. This is a very dusty environment and there is a garbage odour at times. Environment can be hot or cold depending on weather. To be considered for this role you must have: - Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance ideal) - Construction/heavy equipment operation experience (Front End Loaders) - QA experience within manufacturing environments (packaging, reporting, quality control, shipping/receiving, etc) - Be bondable (able to pass a criminal record check) - Have own car to get to and from work - Be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions Pay: $24/hr - if hired, you will get a raise to $25.50/hr! Hours: 6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm or 10pm-6:30am Mon-Fri (may change depending on business needs so workers must be flexible) Duties include: Operating Glass Cleaning or Glass Operations equipment (forklift and front-end loader) Cleaning of the plant as required Daily maintenance of equipment Reporting any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures sweeping, shovelings (repetitive movements) Other duties as assigned This is a very dusty environment and has a garbage smell at times.
