Our Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support reorganization and transition activities. Reorganization involves changes to structures, programs, services, or assignments resulting from shifts in priorities or business plans. These initiatives often require the transfer of programs, services, information, and personnel. Projects include investigating, analyzing, and coordinating the IMT changes needed when departments are renamed, or when programs, services, and staff move between organizational areas. The resource will support various initiatives identified through intakes and prioritized through Governance mechanisms including but not limited to Sector Roadmap initiatives.
Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings up to 3-4 times per month. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times, due to network and data security issues.
Responsibilities
- Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (6+ years)
- Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures. (8+ years)
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently. (8+ years)
- Experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization) in a large and complex organization. (6+ years)
