Hydrovac Operator

HYDROVAC OPERATOR

GCS is looking for an experienced Hydrovac Operator to support our drilling crews in Red Deer. Full-time seasonal work that is locally based.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Hydrovac Operators conduct hydro excavation projects including; utility line exposure debris removal slot trenching and digging;
• Complete permitting requirements as they pertain to the scopes of work;
• Operate trucks in a safe and professional manner;
• Set up and inspect grounding and / or bonding procedures for hydrovac operations;
• Complete all required site documentation;
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and preventative maintenance as needed;
• Complete daily log books;
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity;
• Must show up for work fit for duty to perform duties assigned;
• Able to accept after hour calls in emergency situations
• Ensure client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times;
• Complete daily scheduled services in a timely manner;
• Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner;
• Follow company HSE policies and procedures;
• Perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly;
• Secure excavated holes on site;
• Additional duties as required.
