The Beedie Graduate Programs team is a close-knit high-performing team that manages graduate programs for the Beedie School of Business. This includes the recruitment, admissions, program operations, and student services for nine programs, currently encompassing 750+ students (MBA programs (in person and online), GDBA, MSc Finance). As a collaborative and supportive team, we work hard in an exciting and fast-changing industry, with a common passion for supporting the learning journey for students and creating the best experience possible to support their education.
About the Role
The Program Manager, Graduate Programs manages program administration and provides operational support for designated programs; supports faculty in curriculum program changes; administers special events including local and international retreats and residencies, orientation, and convocation; conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses and prepares reports; manages relationships with institutional partners; manages program budgets and cost projections. The role is a main point of contact for students within its designated program(s) and provides support to students throughout their program journey. The role supervises support staff to ensure the smooth delivery of programs and courses and applies a justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion framework to all aspects of their scope of work.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and resourceful team member with strong organizational skills. They will be responsive, organized, and committed to supporting students. They will be flexible and willing to do a large variety of work and be a positive, respectful, and supportive member of the Program Delivery team and beyond.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline, and three years of related experience in managing the administration / delivery of graduate programs, including experience in event planning, program / project management, or an equivalent combination of education, training.
