Sales Consultant

Courtenay Nissan is part of the Steve Marshall Group, which operates new, used, and RV dealerships throughout British Columbia and the US. We are an award-winning brand with more than 500 employees, and we are looking to add one more as a full-time Sales Consultant .

Role Summary

The Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchase process, from initial greeting to final delivery. This role requires a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust while providing expert product knowledge. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is motivated to achieve sales goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement : Welcome customers to the dealership, listen attentively to their needs, and create a positive, stress-free buying experience.
• Lead Generation : Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, and community engagement activities.
• Product Knowledge : Maintain a strong understanding of the vehicles we offer, including features, pricing, incentives, and promotions.
• Sales Process : Guide customers through the sales process, including test drives, trade-in evaluations, and presenting financing or leasing options in collaboration with the Finance & Insurance team.
• Relationship Building : Develop and maintain lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Goal Achievement : Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction expectations.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with the sales team, service, and finance departments to ensure a seamless and professional customer experience.
• Other Duties : Perform additional responsibilities relevant to the position as assigned.
