Master Data Supervisor Consultant

Our Calgary-based client is seeking an experienced

This is a 12-month contract role.

• Manage the Master Data staff
• Process month-end
• Ensure updates to Business Associates in the Financial Accounting information system
• Set up and updates to Cost Centers, including the review of the division of interest and allocations in the Financial Accounting information system
• Establish and maintain new accounts to the Chart of Accounts in the Financial Accounting information system
• Provide support over cost centers and division on interest question related to ongoing merger and acquisition transactions
• Perform quarterly reconciliations the Master Data within the Financial Accounting information system with various systems within Accounting and Land departments
• Other accounting projects as required
  
  

Master Data Supervisor Consultant

Our Calgary-based client is seeking an experienced Master Data Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the accounting team, whose primary responsibilities include overseeing the entire master data function and managing the other master data administrators ensuring the data integrity of financial data and helping make updates to the fixed data in the financial system along with helping to run the month-end close process. This is a 12-month contract role.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Manage the Master Data staff
• Process month-end
• Ensure updates to Business Associates in the Financial Accounting information system
• Set up and updates to Cost Centers, including the review of the division of interest and allocations in the Financial Accounting information system

Your strengths include:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance
• Knowledge of financial accounting information systems and experience with Qbyte would be an asset
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience supervising staff at various levels
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Resolve issues with effective communication skills
• Oil & Gas accounting experience, including Joint Venture accounting would be an asset
