Equipment Operator - Site Clean-Up - Team lead

Overview : $22.50 / hour

This is a vacant position. Candidates must be 18+ years of age and must be available to work overnight shifts for April-Labour Day 2026.

You’ll also…

• Oversee daily activities of small crew and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner
• Operate commercial / municipal maintenance equipment to assist in the completion of site clean-up program (tractor, sweeper, scrubber, loader, vacuum, heavy truck)
• Site clean-up including; pressure washing, waste handling / recovery, litter control, and general clean-up
• Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications :

You!

Previous leadership experience is preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operation and routine preventive maintenance of various types of heavy equipment

Candidates with a valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G / G2) with a clean abstract

Individuals that are able to meet the physical requirements of the job including : bending, lifting, utilizing hand tools and working in various weather conditions

People that are able to work cooperatively in a team setting

Candidates that have a reliable source of transportation, outside of public transit

Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear

Availability to work 12 : 00am to 9am, rotating shift schedule (7 days on 3 days off, 7 days on 4 days off) during the summer operating season. Shift requirements change in the fall and winter seasons
