About the Opportunity :
Our client is 50+ year business with new ownership and currently outperforming the market. They are seeking an ambitious sales representative to grow existing accounts and drive new business.
The sky is the limit in the Contractor and Builder market in the Hamilton – Haldiman – Niagara region of Ontario as it continues to be more desirable and more affordable compared to larger cities.
Providing a full suite of lumber and building materials directly to the contractor, this business prides itself on providing customer service that makes customers stop and take notice.
Key Responsibilities :
- Using a strategic solution-based approach to gain a deeper understanding of client needs, and introduce new products; grow existing accounts and increase share of wallet.
- Work with the Leadership Team to identify high-potential customers within target market and develop business opportunities; employ a solution-based approach to drive growth and build the company brand in the region.
- Deliver a high touch customer service experience that sets the company apart from the competition and makes customers stop and take notice.
- Lead negotiations for quotations and long-term contracts with key clients to secure revenue growth and meet profitability objectives.
- Collaborate with Leadership and the Inside Team to align on customer needs and industry-leading product and service strategies.
- Utilize CRM systems and other tools to manage customer relationships and optimize resource use effectively.
- Contribute to the creation of sales presentations and other marketing collateral as necessary.
