We are hiring Pipe Welders for a shutdown project in Long Harbour, NL. This is a high-pressure, production-driven shutdown requiring precision welding work on industrial piping systems within a limited timeframe. Welders will be working in a demanding environment where quality, safety, and efficiency are critical. The role requires experience with heavy-wall piping and the ability to perform high-integrity welds while working long 12-hour shifts, primarily nights, in a physically demanding industrial setting.PAY

• JP: $46.88/hr
• APP 4: $42.20/hr
• APP 3: $37.50/hr
• $1.50/hr premium for night shift
• No LOA or mileage covered

SCHEDULE

• Sept 21 – Oct 2, 2026
• 12-hour shifts
• Mostly night shifts
• Potential for additional work

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform high-integrity, X-ray quality welds on heavy-wall industrial piping systems
• Utilize SMAW and GTAW processes on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping
• Prepare, bevel, grind, and fit joints, including work in tight or overhead positions
• Interpret isometric drawings, weld maps, and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
• Conduct pre-heating and post-weld heat treatments in accordance with metallurgical codes
• Work closely with pipefitters and other trades during installation and repair

REQUIREMENTS

• Apprentice (3rd or 4th year) or JPPipefitter
• Valid Pipe welding tickets (Pressure Welder ticket would be accepted)
• Valid Fall Protection and Confined Space
• Must have own transportation
• Maintenance experience preferred
• Industrial or shutdown experience preferred
