Millwright - Fall Shutdown

We are hiring Millwrights for a shutdown project in Long Harbour, NL. This is a short-duration, high-intensity industrial shutdown taking place in an active processing facility. Work will be fast-paced and production-driven, with tight timelines and a strong focus on safety and execution. This role is best suited for experienced tradespeople who are comfortable working long 12-hour shifts, primarily on nights, in physically demanding conditions. Candidates must be prepared to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in a team environment alongside other trades to complete shutdown work efficiently and safely.PAY

• JP: $46.88/hr
• APP 4: $42.20/hr
• APP 3: $37.50/hr
• $1.50/hr premium for night shift
• No LOA or mileage covered

SCHEDULE

• Sept 21 – Oct 2, 2026
• 12-hour shifts
• Mostly night shifts
• Potential for additional work

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Repair and maintain pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and alignment systems
• Work alongside other trades in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment
• Support shutdown maintenance under tight timelines

REQUIREMENTS

• Apprentice (3rd or 4th year) or JP Millwright
• Valid Fall Protection and Confined Space
• Must have own transportation
• Maintenance experience preferred
• Industrial or shutdown experience preferred
