ResponsibilitiesTaking full ownership of, entering, and processing customer orders received by phone, email, web, or occasionally in person.
Ensuring meticulous follow-ups on quotes, delivery times, and proactively managing backorders to provide an irreproachable customer experience.
Designing and estimating price quotes and technical bids for small to medium-sized projects.
Collaborating closely with warehouse staff and providing occasional support at the service counter during peak traffic periods.
Actively participating in the branch's business development by conducting targeted prospecting calls (cold and warm calling) to a manufacturing clientele, utilizing qualified internal account lists provided by management.
QualificationsIndustry Experience: Proven work experience in industrial distribution or a solid technical background/training in electricity.
Driven junior profiles or senior professionals from the competition are welcome.
Language Skills: Excellent command of French (spoken and written) to interact with local contractors, and functional English is mandatory to read and interpret technical documentation, catalogs, and sheets from manufacturers and suppliers out of Quebec.
Computer Literacy: Ability to efficiently use order management software, with knowledge of an ERP like Epicor P21 or a CRM tool like Zoho being an asset.
Key Soft Skills: Strong team spirit, exceptional organizational skills, proactivity, and a demonstrated ability to manage stress in a fast-paced work environment in Gatineau.
