Job descriptionMillwright and red seal (maintenance mechanic) an asset. Formal education or qualification in the field of maintenance and mechanical, including a bachelor’s degree or diploma, along with relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering. At least 10+ years of solid background in manufacturing with experience in production and maintenance management. Previous experience in industrial maintenance. Ability to work in 12‑hour shift, 4 days on 4 days off (2 days, 2 nights per week). Ability to bend, twist, lift and carry 5 to 10 kgs of weight occasionally. Strong manufacturing background with maintenance experience. Attention to detail with good data analysis skills. Robust pension plan with employer matching. Responsibilities
- Inspections, Preventive & Planned Maintenance : Assess and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment; fix defects and perform corrective tasks based on inspection results.
- Flag potential issues early and suggest long‑term solutions.
- Lead complex maintenance projects and supervise third‑party technicians.
- Malfunctions & Emergency Repairs : Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, evaluate severity and determine repair urgency, perform hands‑on repairs and consult with supervisors when needed.
- Modifications & Upgrades : Execute overhaul and modification work per instructions, recommend improvements based on experience and technical insight.
