Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician ensures the smooth operation of mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment at plant and pump stations.
This role involves inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain safety and efficiency.
Technical expertise and attention to detail are essential to keep operations running effectively.
Strong knowledge of both mechanical systems (pumps, conveyors, motors, etc.) and electrical systems (wiring, PLCs, control systems). (asset)

Responsibilities
Repair & Maintain various machinery and equipment (e.g., pumps, conveyors, motors, belts, fans) using hand tools and testing instruments.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, providing solutions and repairs.
Install and Replace machinery, parts, and electrical components as per specifications.
Adhere to Safety Protocols in all tasks to ensure a safe work environment.
Read and Follow Drawings / Diagrams for installation and repair tasks.
Complete Work Orders and ensure follow-up communication for task completion.
Disassemble & Repair machinery, replacing or adjusting parts as necessary.
Qualifications
Mechanical or Electrical License (433a and or 442a)
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, machinery repair, and electrical troubleshooting.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and welding equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, manuals, and diagrams.
Demonstrated experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of safety practices and protocols in an industrial environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
