Fasten your seatbelt! As System Administrator at the Fix Network, your role will be to maintain, monitor, upgrade and troubleshoot key systems in order to ensure high availability, performance and information security.
Moreover, as our System Administrator , you will plan and lead the execution of new infrastructure initiatives and contribute to the solution design of major infrastructure projects.
A Day in the Life of a System Administrator!
- Review system monitoring and logs to identify anomalies and prevent incidents with critical systems and network connectivity.
- Continuously propose infrastructure architectural changes to improve reliability, security, performance and overall cost.
- Install and deploy system updates, patches and perform configuration changes in the production environment.
- Plan, deploy and configure new hardware and software.
- Maintain the infrastructure architecture documentation, configuration management database (CMDB) and communicate significant changes throughout impacted teams and users.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to questions and inquires received from the user community.
- Troubleshoot second and third level incidents directly with the affected users and external vendors.
