What you’ll do:
Engage with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
Operate the Point-of-Sale system and processing customer transaction (training will be provided if needed).
Provide outstanding customer service throughout all components of the gas bar; inside the store, while pumping fuel and filling propane.
Fill propane tanks safely and accurately; training will be provided. Must be able to lift tanks weighing up to 50 lbs.
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the car wash, ensuring equipment is functioning properly and the area is clean and safe for customers.
Shovel snow and perform general outdoor maintenance to keep entrances and walkways safe and accessible.
Ensure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking, and displaying. Follow opening and closing procedures.
Follow all regulations and distribution laws around lottery and tobacco.
Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
Process returns transactions efficiently.
Maintain checkout operations by adhering to policies and procedures.
Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping inside and outside the store.
Be familiar with and follow all safety procedures.
Work 40 hours per week on a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays on a rotational basis, with availability required for either 5:45 am – 2:15 pm or
1:45 pm – 10:15 pm shifts.
Perform keyholder duties, including opening or closing the store, completing end-of-day cash procedures, and ensuring the premises are secure.
Demonstrate behaviours that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values and focus on safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.

You are at least 18 years old.
You have Grade 12 education or equivalent retail and/or customer-service experience.
You can lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
