Summer Learning Educator : Literacy, Numeracy and Wellness Join Our Summer Learning Team for our Kindergarten to Grade Six Trailblazer Program Are you ready to make a lasting impact on young learners this summer? The Superior-Greenstone District School Board is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated educators to lead a dynamic Summer Learning Program focusing on Literacy, Numeracy, and Wellness for students in kindergarten to Grade 6. These face-to-face, July 7-11th (plus planning time) programs will be offered in the following regions : Marathon Terrace Bay Geraldton / Longlac

• Dates to run the program are flexible based on successful applicants needs. Contract Details This commitment includes three full days of planning followed by one week of program delivery. Programs will be delivered in-person and emphasize literacy, numeracy, and wellness. Qualified teachers are preferred, although other experienced applicants will be considered. What You Need to Apply Valid teaching certification (preferred) or relevant qualifications. Experience working with elementary (K-6) students. Familiarity with the Science of Reading principles and effective numeracy strategies Strong communication and management skills Skills & Attributes Ability to build literacy and numeracy skills through engaging, student-centered approaches. Foundational understanding of wellness, with strategies to support students’ social-emotional growth. Willingness to incorporate outdoor components into daily lessons, leveraging local landscapes for hands-on learning.
