We are looking for an Automotive Hoist Apprentice to join our team and learn how to install, service, and inspect automotive lifts throughout BC’s Interior region, including Kamloops, Kelowna, and the Kootenays.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools and equipment, problem-solving, and travelling to different worksites.   • Assisting with installation, service and inspection of automotive lifts
  • Supporting senior technicians with routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
  • Helping to complete accurate documentation for work performed, inspections, and service reports
  • Travel to various job site across the Interior region to support installation and service work
  • Following all safety procedures, protocols, and industry standards (SOPs)
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members, maintaining neat, legible paperwork
  • Learning to demonstrate basic operation and maintenance of lifts to customers after installation
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and work vehicles as requiredDo you fit the part?
  • Experience in hoist / lift installation and repair is considered an asset
  • Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools
  • Interested in learning lift / hoist installation, inspection and repair
  • Hydraulic knowledge is an asset but not required
  • Ability to follow directions, work safely, and contribute to a team environment
  • Possess a valid Class 7 or 5 drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to life up to 50lbs and perform physical work
  • Own a pair of steel-toe boots
  • Willing and able to travel throughout the Interior / Okanagan
